I just got done tying a big order of flies for Ray at Solitude Fly Company to be submitted for judging for next years catalog. Let's all hope that half of them get in and that the rest of the world likes them and buys a ton of them. Thus far, I have had great success with the Crack Back, Pop Top, and of course the Thing-A-Ma-fly family consisting of the Thing-A-Ma-Hopper, Thing-A-Ma-Stone, Thing-A-Ma-Bug (in back/orange and tan/brown). I must admit that it is really fun to see these flies in catalogs and in fly shops as well as to see that people are talking about them.
